As your photographer, I take great privilege to be a part of one of the most important days in a couple's life.  Wedding photography is my passion.  It is a pleasure for me to capture those intimate portraits as I document and capture the story of your wedding day- these photos will be cherished for years to come!  I look for those special moments while covering the big picture.  I like to emphasize candid and documentary style photos, although I also offer formal portraits.  I am very flexible to accommodate the needs and wants of the bride and groom.  I like to hear what is important to you and what it is that you hope and envision in your wedding package.  It is my preference to shoot your entire wedding day.  I enjoy capturing the whole day- the entire story.  I shoot weddings digitally with Nikon professional cameras and lenses.  I would love to meet with you and discuss what it is you are looking for.

Should we do formals before or after the ceremony?

The choice is ultimately up to you, but there are definitely some benefits to doing at least some prior to the ceremony.  Many brides and grooms enjoy a few private moments with each other before the ceremony, which are often captured and later treasured.  Doing some formals before the ceremony also reduces the amount of time needed for post-ceremony formals and gets you to the reception quicker.  Regardless of your choice, I work quickly and efficiently to take your desired formal photographs.

Do you use film or digital?

Digital.  I shoot with Nikon Pro digital SLR cameras and lenses.

Do you shoot color as well as black and white?

Every picture is shot in color.  Because the pictures are all taken digitally, each photo can be printed in black and white, color, or sepia.

How many pictures will you take at our wedding?

Unlimited exposures are taken.  Depending on the wedding and the time allotted for pictures, I typically shoot 700-2000 photos.

Do you have back-up equipment?

I do carry backup equipment.  I want to ensure that nothing inhibits us from properly and fully documenting your day.

Are you available to photograph other bridal events such as bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc.?

Yes!  I am available for any other bridal event you may want professionally photographed.

How do you handle album design?

I will ask for which photos you would like in your album, as well as the type of album you prefer (size, color, etc.)  I will arrange them to best tell your story.

What happens to the digital files from my wedding?

I will give you the digital files from your wedding no later than 6 weeks from the wedding date.  You can choose to order prints through me or I can provide you with a list of labs in your area where you can get prints made from the digital files.  I have a variety of albums available.  Once you tell me what photos you would like to have in your album, I will put it together in such a way that it will tell the story of your wedding day.

How do we reserve our wedding date with you?

Please contact me.  We can meet to discuss your wedding plans and how I can help you fulfill your photographic needs.  Please note that I reserve your date only after receipt of a signed agreement and a security deposit.

Before the wedding

We will talk periodically during the months leading to your wedding.  We will also chat about the timing of your day, ensuring you have time for the special events and quiet pauses that you would like to have.  I will also ask the two of you what you would really like me to capture and if there will be any special people involved in your day or any family heirlooms you would like me to pay special attention to.  A week or two ahead of time, we can take an opportunity to get together in a local coffee shop or over the phone to finalize information from your wedding worksheet and to discuss and final details, such as the formals list and special requests you may have.
